How to take back your sexy

If any of you know me, you would have noticed that I have added over 5 kilos to my body weight during the Covid lock-down period last year. Although it might not seem like much, to me it not only impacted my hormones it impacted the way I felt about myself, the way I felt about my training and the way I responded to my family.

I felt grumpy, frumpy, tired and I definitely lost my sexy.

Lucky I have the insight to know when my body and my hormones are playing up and even luckier to know what to do when they act like crazy!

So instead of beating myself up, l took the necessary steps to bring them back into balance.

I’ve realised there are only 2 things women need to do if they want to balance their HORMONES!

EAT THE RIGHT FOODS AND TONE UP

Firstly, I had to get rid of those nasties that were lurking around in my gut! Those nasties are like weeds that grow in our gardens. So just like we’ll use weed spray to kill them to stop them from spreading and killing our plants, I had to de-weed my gut.

Like many of you, my goal isn’t to be the next bikini model or to be skinny. What I am striving for is to be healthy, free from inflammation and joint pains. I hate feeling bloated and feeling pain in my joints and muscles all the time.

This year kicked off with a great start. I’ve not only cleaned up my diet, I’ve cleaned up my lifestyle. I started by pulling up all my photos and excitedly I, I saw a pattern emerge. I would look thin and fat then fat and thin. What I saw was when I was “dieting” I would binge eat after the completion of each diet program . Looking back at those photos were a reminder of how hard the struggle to lose body fat is, even for me. Living healthy and fat free requires serious commitment.

Over the years, I have looked at many hormonal diets all giving the same advice on how to reset your hormones. Give up carbs, increase your protein etc, etc.

Let me tell you I have tried it all. Year after year I go through the same feelings and same outcomes with the same high and lows.

Since January 1, I have felt better and healthier. More energetic, happier and sexier!

You see, I’ve come to realise that when you follow a NUTRITIOUS way to eat, building muscle tone and MOVING daily you don’t need “hormonal diets”.

1. YOU DON’T NEED TO GO LOW CARB

2. YOU DON’T NEED KETO

3. YOU DON'T NEED TO INCREASE YOUR PROTEIN

Eating the foods that promote health and longevity will automatically let you do the things that you thought was impossible!!!

The best one ... your bedroom once again will become a sexy place.

1. SLEEP BETTER AND LONGER

2. GIVE YOU MORE ENERGY AND

3. MAKE YOU STRESS LESS

My VISION is for all women to be SEXY. To take back your confidence by building a beautiful fit body. You just need to own who you are.
